On a typically foggy Sebastopol morning. We set up the 27 gallon system that we all chipped in to buy a month or so earlier and eventually got a brew going. Many hours later we felt pretty good about the IPA we just brewed. Weeks later we weren't feeling as good... the beer was terrible.
We have sixteen taps and we plan on keeping the beers that flow from them constantly changing and evolving. Down the road we may settle on a few permanent styles, but for now we want to explore, experiment, brew for the season, and mostly have fun by keeping it fresh and creative.
We have partnered with neighboring restaurants and local food producers to create a pretty diverse little menu that should have something for just about everybody.

Sebastopol is home to most of the CGB team, and being able to build our brewery in our hometown is truly awesome. We didn't have a big budget or a ton of space, but with a lot of help from many very talented people (you know who you are, and we can't thank you enough) we were able to create a unique little brewery that we hope is not only a great place to hang out but also positively represents West County's independent spirit.
Our focus will always be on crafting excellent beer, but we also want to offer other experiences as well. Food trucks, seasonal events, private parties, beer and food paired dinners, block parties, basically anything that seems fun. We also plan on being at as many festivals, farmers markets and street fairs that we can. Check the events list to see what we've got coming up.
Will received his education at the American Brewer's Guild, and has over two decades of professional brewing experience, with previous stints at Moylan's, Great Divide, and Mammoth Brewing. Over the years, he has won numerous awards, including gold medals at the Great American Beer Festival.

Left to Right - Rich, Paul, Scott, Will, Andrew and Andy. Everyone on our team contributes in multiple ways, but Andy and Rich have been, and continue to be the key business guys, Paul and Scott are instrumental in brewery operations and Andrew handles the graphic design stuff.
